Identification Keys Help File
Starting a Key
To start a Key, one first has to register at this site. Registration is free. Next, one should let the Administrator know that he/she wants to start a Key. The Administrator will create the Key, using the title or subject you provided. You, as a user, will be added to a usergroup that has access to the Key. If someone else will be co-authering the Key, then other persons registered at this site can also be added to this usergroup.

Key Info and Settings
After your Key is created, you can go to 'Identification Keys' in the Navigation Panel. If you click on 'Edit Key Info' you see the settings the author(s) can change.
Upon creation of the Key, these are the default settings:
Title: The title you provided or something related to the subject given to the Administrator;
Info: same as Title;
Access to Key: Your usergroup;
Key visibility: Site Members;
Maximum no. of Couplets: 5;
Indicator 1st/2nd half Couplet: a and b, respectively.
A number of other setting cannot be edited by the author(s).
